Improvments


The first testing of the game did not go over so well. Some players were confused due to a lack of visual information. The knockback when the enemy hits you was also acting strange, making it hard for players to dodge the enemy after being hit by them.  Also, I had not implemented a way to fight back against the enemy yet.

This all made the game not very fun. The controls were at least simple enough to where they could figure out how to get around. Since players could not attack the enemy, they just dodged it for as long as they could, which was never very long.

I plan to improve on this game by  giving the player an attack, adding animations and textures to give players the visual information they need, and working out the buggy hitboxes. I feel like that's all I will be able to do before next week, but later down the line, I would also like to give both the player and enemy multiple attacks and dodges to add more strategy to the game.
